MMD Home individually selects each antique in its unrestored state and supervises the resotration process. Sourced from most provinces in China, Inner and Outer Mongolia and Tibet, the collections are fine examples of the 19th and early 20th Century styles. MMD Home de-humidifies each piece until the moisture content is 11%, which is the ambient humidity level in New Zealand. Without this process the wood will crack and warp as the humidity in China is higher. 
A work in progress. Most antiques can be in poor shape after years of neglect. The level of craftsmanship required for the restoration process is extremely high.
